Sweet Georgia Brown

Georgia greeting guests in her new home. What a beautiful doorway. I think the Sussex Spaniel Georgia really sets it off.

Shih Tzu

A 1:12 Shih Tzu with alpaca top for fur. Accented with rust and grey markings. OOAK no paint or other application to create the markings. He has a slight upward glance assuming he probably is looking for a little treat from his owner. I have heard dogs do that!

Lhasa Apso

Here is a 1:12 Lhasa Apso. This little dog is made from a fine silk fiber. She has wonderful German glass eyes giving her a absolutely darling face... hidden of course by her Lhasa face fur typical of the breed. It was difficult for me to cover up this little face since for me capturing expression is always my focus. I'm hoping she finds just the right home.

Dallas

Here is Dallas the Irish Terrier in his owners Library. He looks darling in this setting. Dallas resides in a wonderful doll house in California. I think this room is just beautiful... notice the dollhouse in the Library. Dallas was commissioned to live in a recreated Library for her husband. Not seen in this picture is a painting of Dallas hanging on the wall.

Clumber Spaniel

Here is this wonderful Clumber Spaniel in his new home. Seems he has a really comfy bed to sleep in. How is it these mini dogs can look so comfy and seem to make a home a home. Hope there is no shedding or drool on that beautiful bed. But us dog people overlook all things when it comes to our dogs.

Clumber Spaniel

I had fun making my first Clumber Spaniel. Clumbers are the stockiest of the spaniels and one of the oldest. A favorite of English nobility the Clumbers were kept from the commoners. One of the earliest breeds to be shown.. coming to America in the late 1800's. They remain fine field dogs being good retrievers and scent hounds. Not a fast moving dog as you can probably imagine by the shape... short legs wide back. Apparently they shed a great deal and you may have guessed by those lips there is a fair amount of drool. I think this one has a sweet face and a little lazy look.

Sweet Georgia Brown

What a dog! Sweet Georgia Brown a Sussex Spaniel received her service dog certificate at the young age of 6 months old. She was a very beloved Peep in her home. Called a Peep because dogs were not quite human but not quite just a pet either. Peep is the combination of people and pet. A loving dog her entire life Georgia could beg for a treat with just a look! The look was all that was needed to get the message across with those oh so expressive eyes. I had the great pleasure to recreate Georgia in miniature. She will be displayed in a very elegant home filled with many fine artisan's pieces. Darling Georgia deserves just such a home.
